You know what? I do this...I can and I will...get over it
Follow-up peeve: people who plant foliage -- or businesses who erect signage, utility boxes, etc. -- in positions that block your vision when you stop behind the stop line. It's a practical impossibility to safely turn from the designated position at many intersections in my city, because morons break the law and put "stuff" on the tree-lawn.
On a related note, we have weight sensors on some stops, which means that if your car isn't close enough to the intersection, you are not going to get the prize of an advance green light to make your turn. I have actually had to get out of my car and ask the driver in front of me to move forward three feet so that the sensor will give us the arrow because the idiot is just sitting there waiting while everyone else makes it through. Duh!
