Chuay Ghan and Sook Jai meet Jeff in the jungle. He has video tape greetings from home for everyone to see. For the next challenge, someone gets the chance to view a complete videotape and have a nice beverage. Someone? Yes, Jeff reaches into a container and starts to throw out gold-colored Buffs® to the newly-merged tribe. The Reward Challenge requires a team of two to transport a wicker ball the length of an obstacle course. The winning team members race each other in the final. Brian wins the challenge and gets to view his video with the rest of the tribe. However, his tribe mates don't like what they see on the tape - a baby grand piano and a Cadillac. Perhaps he doesn't need the money? The tribe returns to their beach and design the new flag of the Chuay Jai tribe. The Immunity Challenge is in two parts - the first is a quiz to memorize the Thai characters for the numbers 1 through 9. Only two people advance - Ken and Clay. The next part is a grid in the sand, requiring the contestants to dig up instructions written in Thai numerical characters and directions that describe how to advance to the next "mound". The next mound, if correct, has a card numbered 1 to 10 (in Thai). First person to get all 10 wins. Clay wins Immunity over Ken 10-3. At the tribal council, Ken is voted out along tribal lines 5-3, with Ted getting the other votes.
