An update on Indy the Bunny:
SHE'S HOME!
Apparently, she had become quite a handful since we've seen her Thursday night. She's grunting and jumping at people and, in general, just didn't want to be around there any more.
So, she's finally home. She's eating - a little. She's drinking water - a little, but in general, I think she's just happy to be home. She seems a little tired - when she trots around the family room, she needs to lie down for a while. I guess that could happen if you don't eat.
We Still have to give her some antibiotics and some G.I. medicine, but hopefully we won't have to force feed her.
I have a theory: They vets were panicking that she wasn't eating, so they we pumping her full of Critical Care stuff. Well, I know Indy - if she was full, she wouldn't eat. Makes sense, right? So, if you stop force feeding her, she'll start to eat on her own, right? So far, the theory is holding up - though she's not eating a lot. Also, the size of her pellets is small - that could be because the force feedings were toward the end were mixed heavily with water, so she was peein' more than she was poopin'. We need to watch all of this.
